Avoid aspirin (e.g., Excedrin), vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, fish oil, and other dietary supplements (e.g., ginkgo, evening primrose oil, garlic, feverfew, ginseng) 7–8 days before your appointment.
Avoid Motrin, ibuprofen, and alcohol 2 days before your appointment.
Before Peel Treatments, Dermaplaning, Microneedling:
Avoid retinol and active ingredient toners/serums for 1 week prior.
Arrive with a clean, washed face if possible.
Before PRP and PRP Derma Gel Treatments:
Avoid Blood Thinners:
Stop blood thinners (including alcohol) at least 1 week before.
Avoid alcohol 24 hours before.
Avoid NSAIDs:
Stop using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like:

Additional Prep:
Start Arnica 2 days before treatment to help reduce bruising.
Eat iron- and B12-rich foods leading up to and on the day of the procedure.
Have a healthy breakfast and stay hydrated.

Avoid heat – Stay away from saunas, hot tubs, or hot environments after treatment.
Normal Reactions:
Small white bumps or “pearls” under the eyes after PRP are normal and typically resolve on their own.
